En route - Copenhagen airport

We are currently sitting in a airport café in Copenhagen. We are starting to adapt to an American lifestyle - the team is drinking coffee from Starbucks! We´ve had an early start this morning - a majority of the team started around 4 a.m. We have a long journey in front of us - but we are all excited.See you soon!

Enjoy that coffee now, for soon your access to "drinkable coffee" will be frustratingly circumscribed. Oh, don't believe me? HA!

Enjoy the flight - play 'guess who is the air-marshal' or crying baby bingo ~ find a way to make the unbearable bearable.

Sleep, ah sleep - that distant (and receding) memory of pleasant, unhurried peace and quiet. That is now to be replaced by images of bison and cowboys, badlands and prairie, prairie, prairie...

WELCOME!

Kristina,

Greetings and welcome to Fargo, ND! My name is Gene Anderson. I am a lieutenant in command of the Day Shift and West District of the Fargo Police Department. I will be coordinating your day here in Fargo on May 7th. I understand you will be staying at 1108 42nd Ave. N. in Fargo. I will arrange to have a squad pick you up at that residence at 7:30 a.m. This will allow time for you to get into our station and attend our Day Shift briefing.

Throughout the day I will have you spend some time in our Field Services (patrol) division and tour our Investigations, Records and Narcotics Units. If time permits I will also attempt to get you a tour of our county jail and sheriff’s department. If you would like to contact me when you get States side my number is (701) 730-8891. I am not sure if you are able to access this e-mail account so I am going to request Chris Carlson to post it on your travel blog too. If you would like to respond via e-mail I’d be happy to answer any questions you may have. I look forward to meeting you and showing you our community.

Sincerely,

Lieutenant Gene Anderson

Fargo Police Department
